Trevor McKay
9th May 1947 – 3rd September 2026. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family. Treasured husband of Rhonda. Much loved father and father-in-law of Kirsten & David; Briony & Ben; Shanaugh & Jarod. Adored grandfather of Elwyn, Anthea & Salina; Elliot, Hannah & Luca; Finlay & Max. Loving son of Viv & Bert. Much loved brother of Bob, John & Brian, & brother-in-law of Sheena, Julie, Lisa, Jenny; Les & Marj, Alan & Maureen, Geoff & Gaye, Elsie, Peter & Angela. Loved uncle to his 17 nieces and nephews.
A valued friend to many, teacher of generations, talented artist, volunteer in community. Thank you to the staff at Penhall for their exceptional care and kindness. Trevor will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
A Memorial Service for Trevor will be held on Tuesday, 20th October 2026 commencing at 1:30pm in the Thompson Memorial Chapel, 123 Mostyn Street, Castlemaine followed by afternoon tea and drinks at the Trades Hall, 127 Mostyn Street, Castlemaine. I liked Mack a lot.He was a great team member a good colleague. He was popular with the kids and respected for his ideas about pottery. We talked about Essendon Bombers a lot during the Sheedy years; he was a pretty passionate supporter. I have only good thoughts about him. I know Rhonda, Kirsten, Briony and Shanaugh will miss him.
