10/10/1953 – 11/06/2024. Rest in peace. A life well lived with Marlene. Dearly loved by his families Shelana & Aaron, his grandies Dehne, Sarah & Johnno. Nipa to his great grandies Michael & Izzy.
In accordance with Michael’s wishes, a private Cremation will be held.
Words are brief, but the meaning and emotions are forever.
From this side of the moon to the dark side of the moon.
I love you.
My brother Michael (Mick to nearly everyone) was an intelligent man with a free spirit who spurned the city to live his life in nature with his wife Marlene. He was raised in Coomoora near Daylesford and North Box Hill. He had a wonderful time in the country which I am sure contributed to his later lifestyle choice.
He loved a beer, a smoke and his Essendon football team and we were often at loggerheads when they played my team Collingwood.
He was always keen to join in our family celebrations and rarely missed an event. He thought deeply about world events but needed to be constrained when politics came up!
A life lived the way he wanted. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten. With love. Rest in peace brother.
so sorry for your loss xx

A gentle man, a loving and caring grandfather and great grandfather. You taught me so much. You’re the reason i love Pink Floyd, you’re the reason i love technology. You’re the reason my firstborn is named after you. I hope i did you proud pa. Mikey remembers playing soccer with you.
We love you and miss you.
Memories of Mick & Marlene in our earlier years.
A happy, gentle conversationalist with a warm, beautiful smile.
Love & condolences to Marlene… Mick’s other half for many, happy country years & all his family & friends.

Rest In Peace Uncle Michael.
I will never forget the tricks you played on me. I will miss out deep conversations about politics, footy and of course your laugh.
Always in my thoughts.

Our mad scientist of a Pa. A truely wonderful man with the heart of a lion. I am certain he could have given any of the politicians a reason to crumble.
Hope the bombers up there are on a winning streak for you.
Our love, Mat and Sarah
The 3 amigos, the 3 musketeers, call us what you will, Mick, Rob and Ron.
Cousins is what we called each other, more like brothers in reality.
Growing up together, then separated,
but only between school holidays.
It was Box Hill North or Lyonville, but the adventures were equal and so was the mischief.
There was fishing, hunting, horse riding to name a few and later on a little bit of drinking, sometimes a little bit too much.
Those carefree days don’t exist anymore except in our memories.
As we settled to a quieter life in later years, reminiscing was the only adventure now.
As 3 is now 2, a third of our library is now lost.
You left us too soon and couldn’t wait for us to return to say our farewells.
We will miss you and our catch ups.
