15/05/1937 – 04/06/2024. Father of Elizabeth & Eamon, Ross (dec), Lyndon & Yvonne. Grandpa to Paige, Shea, Tayce, Amelia and Timothy.
A Memorial Service to honour Phil’s life will be held at the Castlemaine Golf Club, Corner Pyrenees Highway and Rilens Road, Muckleford on Wednesday, 19th June 2024 commencing at 1.30pm.
Valuable member of the Castlemaine Golf Club many enjoyable rounds of golf with Phil in the past will be truly missed
Castlemaine golf Club members were very sad to hear of the passing of Phil Broderick earlier this week -a long time member and an true gentleman of our club.
Phil was a very keen golfer for many years and a popular playing partner in our club events.
Phil volunteered on many occasions to support many of our club activities.
His contribution, reliability and loyalty for the weekly money counting and banking for over 15 years has been an enormous contribution.
Phil will be much missed at the club – Friday Night social group, ‘parma’ nights, running the cup day sweeps, working and cleaning up the bar, changing lights – the list goes on.
Phil will be particularly missed by his Friday night mates and especially his close Peter Gresswell.
So may we raise a glass of red for Phil

Monday night dinners, games of pool and a bottled of red were enjoyed for many years.
