READE, Joan
18.09.1937 – 08.06.2023, aged 85 years.
Farewell to our beloved Mum and Nan. Survived by Husband Eddie, Sisters Nancy and Marie, and Brother Anthony. Children Terry, Marie, Bernadette, Therese, Danny, Peter, Gab and Luke. Grandchildren Rebecca, Stephanie, Carla, Hanorah, Alana, Ella and Joey. Great Grandchildren Elsie and Neve.
The Funeral Service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 78 Hargraves Street, Castlemaine on Wednesday June 14th, 2023 commencing at 11am. At the conclusion of the Service, Joan will be laid to rest at the Harcourt Cemetery followed by a wake at the Old Tea Rooms (Pipe Band Hall) Castlemaine Botanical Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Mary’s Catholic Church or St Vincent de Paul Castlemaine in Joan’s honour would be appreciated.
A wonderful faith filled woman, so kind & caring to our family when we first moved to Castlemaine, and Lee took over from Eddie at the old Castlemaine Police Station. RIP Joan, in God’s loving care 🙏 ❤️
