The Funeral Service to honour John’s life will be held at the Community Centre, 45 Elizabeth Street, Campbells Creek on Saturday, 19th December 2020, commencing at 1pm. At the conclusion of the Service, John will take his final ride to the Harcourt Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
John You were a great neighbour at harcourt for many years. You rescued my cat from the animal shelter in Melbourne because some caring city slicker had the lack of insight to know country cats go for walks along Symes road at harcourt and don’t get lost. So she rescued him and took him to Melbourne. But you shared your Mac Donald’s with him on the trip home. I bought my grand kids a cubby and swing set and you brought that home for me by going out of your way yet again. When the freeway was being designed you helped with the stress we all had and offered support. You would check in on my property in Symes road and offer help if I needed You were such a generous community man with a heart of gold. My condolences to Gail and the kids and enjoy the trucking rides in heaven. Rest In Peace. Your journey is done.
Lynne Watt.
