    We had a wonderful grandfather,
    One who never really grew old;
    His smile was made of sunshine,
    And his heart was solid gold;
    His eyes were as bright as shining stars,
    And in his cheeks fair roses you see.
    We had a wonderful grandfather,
    And that’s the way it will always be.

  2. So sad although I had not seen Gordon for a few years my family have special memories of fishing and camping with him. My Dad Ted Franklin and Pop Dick Ford thought he was a special bloke they had passed on also so what a reunion they will all be having up the river. My sympathy to all of Gordon’s family fond memories and respect. Xo Deb Hamilton and family
