It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Dover on March 6, 2023. Loving father to Rachael, Kylie, & Jocelyn. Beloved companion of Sue. Father-in-law to David and Shaun. Extraordinary Pop to Jessica, Tara, Kaiden, Milla, Hunter and Harlow. Loved by his brothers and sisters and now resting in peace with his Mum, Joyce, and Dad, Harold.

Gary will always be remembered as a kind, caring and funny man who dedicated his life to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his work family and clients and all those who knew him.

The Funeral Service for Gary was held at Vaughan Springs Cemetery on Tuesday 14th March, followed by drinks and finger food at Buda Historic Home & Garden, Castlemaine.

15.06.1945 – 28.02.2023, aged 77 years.

Our beloved Father, Howard Ronald Penberthy, passed away on Tuesday 28th February, surrounded by those who cherished him. Adored Father of Deanne Jolly and Belinda O’Neill, Grandad to Scarlett and Lily Jolly; Ethan, Jasper, Finn and Amelie O’Neill, loved Father-in-law to Jarrod O’Neill and Friend of former Wife, Glenda. The youngest Son of Victor James and Perlrose Alvinia Penberthy (both dec), Brother of Ivan Victor (dec) and Jefferson, Sister-in-law Mitsuko, Uncle to Mark (Liam and Ellen), Natsumi, Jun and Haneu.

Howard was a natural sportsman in his younger days, but also a creative soul and fine craftsman. He loved the goldfields, poetry, theater prose, history, music, the AFL, vintage cars – and his family to the utmost. He was a true gentlemen and kind soul and will be dearly missed.

The Funeral Service and tributes for Howard will be held at the Thompson Memorial Chapel, 123 Mostyn Street, Castlemaine on Thursday, 9th March 2023 commencing at 1pm followed by a wake at the Trades Hall (next door). After a short but tough battle with MND, Chris left us peacefully. Such an inspiration to all no matter what. His smile, his humour and always, even at the end, a thumbs up to let us know he was good. Sadly missed, now and forever in my heart. Love always Vicki.

The eldest Son of Leslie Seamons (Dec) and Kathleen Seamons (Nee; Gervasoni) (Dec) of Kooroocheang. Brian was the eldest sibling of eight girls and one boy; Kathleen Bond (Dec), Florence Ogden (Dec), Margaret Hazler, Irene Dalgleish, Doreen James, Josie Sheehan, Clare Camm, Leonie, John Seamons (twins) and Michelle.

Brian will be sadly missed by his siblings, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. RIP.
