  1. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to John. Whether it was on the phone or during our stays in Victoria, we enjoyed our yarns with John; his straight talking; sharing a laugh with him and enjoying his wry sense of humour and generous smile. Our deepest sympathy to Maria and Melinda as we will miss his gentle and kind character. Krys, Nigel, Alex and Marcus Broad, Perth WA.

  2. Uncle John, from your love of model trains (how can I ever forget that huge amazing setup you created), to your love of model planes, model cars, and more importantly your love for Aunty Maria and Melinda. I will forever remember the moment, many moons ago, when Aunty Maria came into the kitchen all dressed up as you were going out to an event. Your eyes gleamed as you proclaimed proudly, how beautiful and amazing she looked. She was the Belle of the Ball to you and you were looking at her like you had just fallen in love all over again. That twinkle in your eyes lasted 52 years and will continue to live on. You will be sorely missed. With love, Sophia and Katrina xo

    • Deepest sympathy to Maria and Melinda for the passing of John your beloved husband and father. John you have left us with years of cherished memories, rest in peace now in Gods care. Love from Renata and family

  3. Beloved husband of Maria, and loving father to Melinda.
I enjoyed my catch-ups with Maria and John at Victory Park in Castlemaine.
Maria would bring a thermos of coffee, and we would share great conversation and many laughs.
    I will miss you John.
    Susannah
