O’HALLORAN, Ian ‘Bluey’

Passed away suddenly on 1st October, aged 84. Loved and loving son of John and Alice (both dec). Cherished younger brother of Barbara, brother-in-law and great friend of Ron (Robertson). Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Wendy (dec). Adored and loving father and father -in-law of Trudy and Peter, Nicholas and Leah, Kym and Michael. Much loved and respected grandfather of Dylan and Bridget, Jace, Tyler and Kristen, Lochie and Harley and fond friend of Geordie. Adored and doting great grandfather of Amelia and Harvey. Loved uncle of Lee, Kerry and Gayle.

Our dear Dad- taken from us before conversations were finished, projects completed and new adventures commenced, but relieved that you are now reunited with ‘ the girl at the pool’ whom you haven’t stopped loving and have missed so dearly. Your bravery, strength and dignity were on display to the end and have left us with inspiring memories and a history that we will treasure – your loving children Trudy, Nick and Kym.

We, his family, extend an invitation to join us in celebrating his remarkable life at a memorial to be held at the Campbells Creek Community Centre at 2pm on Friday 11th October. Thanks to the nursing and oncology staff at Bendigo Health for their care and support. Many thanks to Peter Thompson of Thompson Family Funerals for his guidance and caring attention at this time.
